Bilingual Boutique Hotel Manager
Rural complex, Toledo
Our client seeks a proactive Bilingual Manager to take over the running of a luxury boutique countryside hotel (Finca). The site is geared towards high profile, international clientele and the remit will include pushing the business forward and further developing the offering. The role will be undertaken on site (accommodation provided) and the Estate is located 90 minutes from Madrid.
The remit for this role is wide, with responsibilities including (not limited to):
Operations
- General management and overseeing operations for a 12 room hotel
- Manage and oversee a small, dedicated team of five staff members
- Manage reservations and implement necessary systems
- Ensure high standards are maintained across the board
- Act as key reference for high profile clientele, ensuring they receive a personalised and high quality experience
- Work closely with Estate Manager and Administration manager to ensure cohesion
Strategy, Development & Execution
- Work with ownership to elevate the hotel’s reputation (both on an a national and international basis) aligning with luxury benchmarks to deliver a distinctive experience
- Develop marketing and business development strategies alongside ownership
- Work with ownership to leverage current offering of experiences on site and improve standards of current country pursuits offered for clientele
- Adapt to the seasonal business demands, with the busiest season being winter
- Ensure strategies executed to high standards of international owners
Events
- Development of event offering and management of said events
- Ability and flexibility to accommodate the owner’s visits, which can be unstructured and spontaneous
Candidates will ideally have a bilingual level of English/Spanish (due to contact with international clientele) additional languages will be viewed favourably. A relevant University degree and proven experience running or assisting with the running of a boutique hotel is required. Driving License required
The ideal candidate will be passionate about countryside living and luxury hospitality. They will enjoy the opportunity and challenge of maintaining standards whilst also pushing the business to the next level.
Location – Toledo
Salary – Dependent on experience with Accommodation (private house) provided on the Estate
Timetable – Complete flexibility due to demands of hospitality
