Bilingual Executive Business Manager

Tech firm, Europe (Barcelona)

Our client, a leading European Technology firm who are currently undergoing one of the largest transformations in Europe through Private Equity investment, are looking for an exceptional Bilingual Executive Business Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting and coordinating the Supervisory Board (PE Consortium) and Board of Directors. 

Supporting a key team, responsibilities will include: 

  • Acting as the primary liaison between the Supervisory Board, Board of Directors, and executive management team, ensuring seamless communication and information flow 
  • Flawless management of various agendas, anticipating schedule changes and working across global time zones 
  • Impeccable coordination of meetings between the Supervisory Board (including PE Consortium), Board of Directors, and C-level. Board meetings, committee meetings, and strategy sessions 
  • Management and drafting of correspondence and communications on behalf of the Supervisory Board and Board of Directors
  • Managing and distributing all documents in support of meetings, liaising with necessary teams for presentations, reporting etc. 
  • Maintaining accurate records of all board meetings, including minutes, decisions, and actions, ensuring that all documentation is compliant with corporate governance standards
  • Collating and distributing relevant documentation following strategic meetings and follow-up on key deliverables
  • Coordinating complex multi-stop global travel arrangements, including but not limited to: hotels, transfers, flight bookings, detailed itineraries, visas, etc.
  • Assisting with projects as assigned by the Supervisory Board or Board of Directors, often involving research, analysis, and reporting
  • Event Management: Organising and coordinating Board level events from initiation to completion
  • Ensuring all activities and communications are in alignment with the company’s governance policies and procedures
  • Supporting coordination of strategic business projects and help to guide them to completion
  • Working on multiple projects and priorities simultaneously 
  • Facilitating special requests
  • Working closely with entire team across differing global jurisdictions 

 

This role will be undertaken entirely in English whilst additional languages are a plus. Candidates will be digitally/technologically literate and able to adopt new softwares with ease. They will ideally hold a Business Administration Degree or similar. It is essential that candidates hold a minimum of 8 years’ experience with exposure to coordination at Board level. Previous experience in a global Private Equity firm or supporting C-Level in an international Technology firm will be considered favourably. 

The ideal candidate will be resourceful, disciplined, shrewd and able to deliver. They should thrive and feel motivated by working in an ambiguous, changing environment. They will practise impeccable discretion and judgement given the sensitivity of the information this individual will be exposed to. Strong business acumen combined with a solid understanding of strategy are essential for this position. 

Location – Europe (Barcelona)   

Salary – Competitive + Bonus + Benefit package 

Timetable – Full and flexible (Occasional European travel required)
